Tango Amistoso is delighted and honoured to welcome Bruna Estellita, Tango World Champion, to London for a special three-week residency from 1st June until 21st June.

Bruna is internationally recognised as one of the most accomplished and inspiring dancers of her generation. Her artistry, technique, musicality and deep understanding of Argentine Tango have earned her worldwide acclaim, culminating in her achievement as Tango World Champion. It is a rare privilege to have an artist of Bruna’s calibre teaching in London, and we are thrilled to be able to share her knowledge and experience with our tango community during this exclusive residency.

Throughout her stay, Bruna Estellita will be teaching alongside Winston Veerender, founder of Tango Amistoso, in a programme of advanced classes, open-level classes, Followers’ Technique Workshops, practicas and milongas.

Together they will offer dancers a unique opportunity to deepen their technique, musical interpretation, connection and confidence on the dance floor while learning directly from one of the most respected tango artists in the world.

In addition to the weekly partnerwork classes, Bruna will also be offering dedicated Followers’ Technique Workshops, designed to help followers develop stronger balance, pivots, posture, musicality, adornments and body awareness. These workshops provide a rare opportunity to study the technical foundations of tango with a World Champion in an intimate and focused setting.

Whether you are looking to refine your tango, challenge yourself at an advanced level, strengthen your foundations, or develop your individual technique, these classes and workshops promise to be an inspiring and unforgettable experience.

An intensive class for experienced dancers focusing on advanced technique, musicality, connection, precision and refined movement.

Taught by Bruna Estellita & Winston Veerender

Followed by Practica.

An open-level class designed for dancers who wish to improve their tango fundamentals while exploring musicality, connection and elegant social dancing.

A challenging and inspiring advanced class for dedicated dancers seeking greater depth, creativity and sophistication in their tango.

Special Followers’ Technique Workshops with Bruna Estellita

Alongside the weekly programme, Bruna will be teaching a series of dedicated Followers’ Technique Workshops.

These workshops will focus on the essential elements that allow followers to move with greater freedom, elegance, control and musical expression, including:

– Balance and axis
– Pivots and dissociation
– Posture and body organisation
– Adornments and embellishments
– Musicality and interpretation
– Precision, softness and power in movement
– Developing confidence and presence in social dancing
