September begins with plenty happening at Tango Amistoso — a Beginners Crash Course, our regular classes through the week, three weekend milongas, and some very special September workshops just around the corner.

🌱 BEGINNERS CRASH COURSE — SATURDAY 5 SEPTEMBER

Know someone who keeps saying they would love to try Tango but never quite gets started? This is a perfect introduction. ❤️
In one focused afternoon we cover the foundations of Tango — connection, walking, communication and dancing together. No previous dance experience is needed and you don’t need to bring a partner.

⭐ OA METZNER — TUESDAY ADVANCED SEMINARS

8.00pm – 9.30pm – Advanced with Oa Metzner
Oa Metzner begins her September Advanced series with us on Tuesday. These sessions are for dancers who want to go deeper into the structure, quality and possibilities of the dance, with guided practice before and after the seminar.

Our structured seven-week courses are a great way to start Tango from the beginning and build your foundations week by week. No previous dance experience is needed and you don’t need to bring a partner.

Friday is our big social start to the weekend — classes first, then three hours to dance, catch up and settle into the Maitrī atmosphere.

Saturday is for going a little deeper. Start with the Advanced class, then stay for Amistosa and a night centred around connection, musicality and plenty of dancing.

Sunday has become our place to play. We explore Tango beyond the usual boundaries in Tango Unlimited and then finish the weekend together at Simpática — relaxed, friendly and full of good energy.

Natalia Myczewska will be with us in London over the 11–13 September weekend, including a dedicated Follower’s Technique Workshop on Saturday 12 September.

18–20 SEPTEMBER — CHICHO FRUMBOLI & JUANA SEPULVEDA
One of the biggest weekends of our year. Chicho & Juana return to London for an immersive seminar weekend, together with our weekend milongas and a special Friday-night performance.
Chicho is one of the dancers who helped reshape modern Tango, and together Chicho & Juana bring an extraordinary combination of innovation, connection and musicality. If you want to study Tango beyond simply collecting steps, this is a very special opportunity.
